Description
We are seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians to join our team at Extrastaff Limited.

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for:

Ensuring the general running, servicing, and repair of plant and machinery, and participating in site maintenance and operation.
Performing diagnostic tests and root cause analysis to identify machinery or equipment issues.
Disassembling machinery or equipment to repair or replace malfunctioning parts.
Testing machines or running initial batches to ensure proper operation.
Assisting in the installation of new manufacturing equipment.
Adjusting and calibrating equipment as per specifications.
Conducting routine inspections and testing of equipment to minimize process disruptions.
Testing malfunctioning machinery to determine if major repairs are needed.
Carrying out preventative maintenance to minimize unexpected issues.
Responding to alerts and executing corrective procedures according to SOPs and protocols.
Maintaining up-to-date documentation of checks and repairs.
Logging downtime and maintenance activities.
Potentially training production staff on routine maintenance procedures.
Managing spare parts inventory, ordering, and replacement as needed.
Performing any other tasks reasonably required by the employer.
Skills and Experience:

Preferably 1+ years of relevant experience or relevant qualification; minimal industrial experience candidates willing to learn are also considered.
Friendly demeanor, good time management, and strong work ethic.
Reliable, hardworking, with a commitment to health and safety procedures.
Excellent time management skills and a willingness to develop skills further.
Pay Conditions: Min $26.69/hour to a max of $32/hour
Hours of Work: Minimum 30 hours guaranteed
Location: May require occasional travel to various regions across New Zealand including Auckland, Northland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawke's Bay, Taranaki, Gisborne, Whanganui-Manawatu, Wellington, Marlborough, Nelson-Tasman, Canterbury, West Coast, Otago, and Southland.
This role is permanent and full-time.
