Description
We are seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians to join Extrastaff Limited.

Flexibility to work across the country may be required.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for:

Ensuring the general running, servicing, and repair of plant and machinery, and participating in site maintenance and operation.
Performing diagnostic tests and root cause analysis to identify machinery or equipment problems.
Disassembling machinery or equipment to repair or replace broken or malfunctioning parts.
Testing machines or running initial batches to ensure proper operation.
Assisting in the installation of new manufacturing equipment.
Adjusting and calibrating equipment as per specifications.
Routine inspection and testing of equipment to minimize process disruption.
Testing malfunctioning machinery to determine if major repairs are needed.
Performing preventative maintenance to minimize unexpected issues.
Responding to alerts and carrying out corrective procedures in line with SOPs and protocols.
Maintaining up-to-date documentation of checks and repairs.
Keeping logs of downtime within the manufacturing system.
Training production staff on routine maintenance procedures, if required.
Managing stock of spare parts, including ordering and replacements.
Performing any other tasks reasonably required by the employer.
Skills and Experience Required:

Preferably 1+ years of relevant experience or relevant qualification (not compulsory).
Willingness to learn for candidates with minimal industrial experience.
Good time management, work ethic, and reliability.
Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
Strong commitment to learning and industry development.
Pay Conditions: Min $26.69 per hour, up to $32 per hour.
Hours of Work: Minimum 30 hours guaranteed per week.
Additional Travel: Occasional travel to various regions across New Zealand may be required.
