Maintenance Planner

Vestas Wind Australia has announced an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Planner to support the maintenance of wind farms across Western Australia.
This role is essential to the service process, ensuring that our wind farms operate efficiently and safely.
You will work as part of the broader Service Scheduling team while also collaborating independently with site teams to deliver clear and effective planning outcomes.
The Vestas Wind Service division provides maintenance and scheduled services to our products on client-owned properties.
These wind farms are required to meet agreed KPIs regarding output, downtime, running costs, and safety/environmental responsibilities.
This role requires travel to various wind farms in our NZ Wind Farms and involves 5 days per week work from site.
Region: APC > Service APAC > Service Operations Support
As a Service Planner, your task is to set the sequence of activities in service, according to processes, instructions, business rules, and your expertise.
You will streamline workloads and manage factors impacting planning to ensure a stable workflow and consistent work for technicians.
Responsibilities:

Balance all assigned territory orders to ensure minimum downtime and maximum productivity
Maintain and adjust service crew composition based on demand
Plan and monitor tools, parts, and services before crew mobilization
Manage crew schedules daily
Align the service schedule with contractual obligations
Ensure timely communication with crews and partners
Monitor KPIs and PPIs related to Planning & Scheduling to keep them balanced and under control

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent field
Technical understanding and planning skills are essential
Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and Salesforce
