Maintenance Person

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Maintenance Handyman to join our hospitality team on a full-time basis.
In this role, the successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining 10 leading bars and restaurants throughout Queenstown and Frankton, ensuring our customers are provided with a safe and comfortable experience.
This is a great role for an experienced individual who is looking for a new challenge, variety and flexibility in their workday.The role:Carry out a range of general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and paintingCarry out preventative maintenance where applicableRespond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely mannerCommunicate clearly and work closely with all venues, suppliers and contractorsWork in unsupervised environments with a solutions-based focusMaintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and ensure compliance with health and safety regulationsPreferred skills:Proven experience as a maintenance handyman or in a similar roleStrong practical skills in areas such as plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and paintingGood problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a solutions-focused approach and able to think outside the boxExcellent communication and customer service skills to interact with venue guests and staffCertification in relevant trades an advantage or a willingness to obtain themAn understanding of Health and SafetyA good level of fitnessA clean NZ driver's licenceEligibility to work in NZAbout Wolf Hospitality GroupEstablished over 20 years ago amidst the vibrant spirit and breathtaking landscapes of Queenstown, New Zealand, Wolf Hospitality Group encompasses a fast-growing collection of restaurants, bars and pubs.
