Broadspectrum currently holds the Auckland Transport North West Urban Roads Maintenance contract and we are currently seeking an experienced and suitably qualified Maintenance Patrol Person.

ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role workers mainly work with one other team member and perform road maintenance duties such as clearing kerb & channel and cesspits, filling potholes, checking and clearing culverts, litter collection, putting up flooding signs and clearing debris in weather events.
If business needs require it, this role is expected to carry out other maintenance/construction labouring duties from time to time outside the specialised scope of the Maintenance patrol person.
ABOUT YOU
No formal qualifications are required, but basic handyman/maintenance skills are a definite advantage. As this is a physical, manual role, you will need to be physically fit - the job requires digging, heavy lifting, prolonged periods of walking, standing, and bending.
Minimum requirements are a valid Class 2 driver's license with WTR endorsement preferred
