We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Manager to join a highly engaged team.
In this role based in Wiri, you will ensure that all maintenance activities enhance safety, product quality, environmental protection, and operational performance, by providing professional and technical engineering leadership to the maintenance and production functions (TPM-PM) in the factory.
A Day in the Life
This role is varied, so no two days are the same.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager and working closely with the maintenance planner and technical store person, your responsibilities will include:
Enabling high-performance operations by providing asset maintenance and planning according to Nestlé strategies, using TPM and AMM approaches.
Supporting and contributing to proper technical store management.
Building and managing the maintenance budget, ensuring justification, requests, implementation, and tracking in line with Nestlé guidelines.
Fulfilling factory needs in line with production requirements, ensuring utilities meet food safety criteria.
Supporting technical store management through proper planning of spare parts and maintenance activities.
Optimizing energy and water consumption by implementing proper M&I activities and respecting SH&E policies.
Leveraging SAP to manage maintenance plans and collaborating cross-functionally to implement them.
What Will Make You Successful
You will have strong engineering experience and:
Hold a Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Industrial Engineering, or similar, with experience in FMCG, food processing, or related technologies.
Have at least 3 years' experience in a technical role within food manufacturing or consumer goods industries.
Experience in Fixed Assets Maintenance, budgeting, TPM, preventive maintenance, and maintenance execution.
Personnel supervisory experience with technical teams, including contractors and suppliers.
Experience in engineering improvement projects and equipment start-up or commissioning.
Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams to optimize processes.
Proactive, thorough, detail-oriented, with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
