We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Person to join our Operations team.

We also design motorhomes through Action Manufacturing and create digital products via thl Digital.Purpose:The Maintenance Person is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning, safety, and upkeep of the facilities.
This includes performing a variety of maintenance tasks such as repairs, installations, inspections, and preventive maintenance to ensure that all equipment, systems, and infrastructure are in optimal condition.Key Responsibilities:Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of buildings, equipment, and systems.Perform basic repairs to electrical, plumbing, heating, and air conditioning systems.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to equipment malfunctions, leaks, or damages.Maintain and repair flooring, walls, doors, windows, and other structural components.Replace worn-out or damaged components such as light bulbs, filters, and batteries.Maintain a schedule for preventive maintenance and ensure it is adhered to.Assist with the installation of new equipment or systems.Ensure all safety protocols are followed, including working with power tools, machinery, and hazardous materials.Respond to emergency repair requests promptly and efficiently.Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies, and order replacements when necessary.Communicate with management about ongoing maintenance needs and priorities.Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and building codes.Document maintenance activities and repairs in a log for record-keeping and reporting.Ensure the gardens are kept tidy and clean - e.g., sweeping, weeding.Perform any other duties as required.Qualifications:Proven experience in general maintenance or related fields (e.g., carpentry).Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment, and repair techniques.Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely.Basic understanding of electrical wiring, plumbing systems, and HVAC equipment.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.Knowledge of safety practices and regulations.Working Conditions:Work may be performed in various settings, including offices, factories, or outdoor environments.Physical demands may include lifting, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods.Exposure to cleaning chemicals, power tools, and construction materials may be required.Availability for emergency maintenance or after-hours calls may be necessary.Additional Information:This position may involve on-call responsibilities or shift work, depending on the facility's needs.
