Maintenance Fitter

RECYCLING INDUSTRY | 2 WEEKLY ROTATING SHIFTS | ONEHUNGA LOCATION
At Advanced Personnel our well-known client in the recycling industry has asked us to help find their next potential employees to join their team.
About the role:
Reporting to the Reliability Manager/Maintenance Team Leader, you will be working as part of a dedicated team to ensure that all job requirements are met with agreed scope, quality and time.
You will also be responsible for:
- Attending all health checks and other necessary training
- Undertaking compliance and quality improvement initiatives where required against contract specifications
- Maintaining company equipment in a good working condition
- Undertaking timely repairs to plant and equipment
- Good working relationships with all maintenance team members and all other staff

About you:
To be successful in this role you will have a thorough understanding of the manufacturing process preferably within the recycling Industry.

You will also:
- Be trade certified - mechanical trade (fitter, mechanic, etc)
- Have extensive experience in industrial maintenance and fault finding
- Be able to demonstrate continuous improvement (CI) skills with a knowledge and understand of CI principles
- Have sound planning & organizational skills
- Preferable have - Limited electrical registration & NZCE qualifications
