Full Time Application Closes 26 Apr 2024 Hawkes Bay - Hastings Engineering Technician We are looking for a trade certified engineer to join our busy hands-on engineering team based in Hawke's Bay.
Our maintenance engineer plays a crucial role in keeping the WineWorks bottling plant operational by: 
· Carrying out day to day preventative maintenance on our wine bottling and packaging production lines to keep them humming
· Maintaining our tank farm and all additional equipment
· Conducting annual maintenance
· Investigate, specify, and install new kit as required
· Maintaining spare parts and critical spares
· Maintaining our site, buildings and services
· Designing and fabricating inhouse improvements and additions
· Ensuring all H & S control measures are maintained and used

We are a friendly team who undertakes a variety of interesting engineering tasks. We work hard, sometimes under time pressure, but know how to have a bit of fun. There are opportunities to learn and develop, as well as work alongside the engineering teams from our other two sites. 
We pay competitive rates based on skills and experience, including allowances. You will work approximately 45 hours per week on wages.
Applicants for this role must be:  Mechanical NZCE. NZQA Level 4, or Trade      Certificate is required Experienced in preventative maintenance (3 years +) ideally in a manufacturing environment Experienced in carrying out fault finding to understand equipment failures NZ Citizen or Permanent Resident  Ideally, candidates will: Have a background in food manufacturing environment and experience with Food Safety and HACCP system Have experience with pneumatic systems Completed courses such as Forklift, EWP, confined space, working at heights Bonus points if: · You are a registered Electrician or hold a limited license.
