Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Specialist

We have a great opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Specialist) to join a national company based in the Wellington region.

You will be responsible for engineering service delivery to enable production continuity through design, installation, maintenance, repair, replacement and safe operation of plant and machinery. The role requires you to install, maintain and repairs of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures; electrical maintenance, emergency repairs, modification and preventative maintenance.

Key requirements for this position are electrical diagnostics and fault finding skills, proven experience using computerised equipment (including PLC controlled equipment), problem solving and understanding the root cause analysis, and the ability to read an interpret drawings and specifications.

We require someone who has a mechanical or electrical trad qualifications, registered with NZ EWRB.
