The Challenge – Should you choose to accept it
Based in our Simply Squeezed factory in Bayview, reporting to the Maintenance Manager the key focus for the Engineer role is to ensure the efficient and uninterrupted operation of the production machinery and to work closely with production to ensure that production targets are achieved and that any engineering issues are resolved.
Key responsibilities of this position include:
Carry out planned maintenance, including related documentation
Optimise plant reliability and minimise operating costs
Respond to any breakdowns quickly and efficiently, escalating issues where appropriate
Proactively work to make improvements on cost, quality and downtime
Improving efficiency with all maintenance assignments
This role is also available part-time (from 20 hours per week).
Where do you fit in?
To be successful for this position you will need to have:
Excellent people skills
Multi-skilled mechanical and/or electrical trade certification and relevant experience with preference given toward electrical certification
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Flexibility as to working hours and shift
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to plan, prioritise and maintain performance under pressure
A strong focus on health and safety
