Ventia is engaged by Auckland Council to carry out all its FM-related works across hundreds of its buildings and facilities around the North Shore, Central Auckland, and part of East Auckland.We are currently seeking a motivated and suitably qualified Electrician to join our Tahi (North Shore) team. You will gain hands-on experience and be exposed to prestigious employers such as Ventia and Auckland Council.ABOUT THE ROLEYou will be reporting to the Multi Trade Team Manager, responsible for servicing reactive and planned maintenance to the allocated buildings, equipment, and offices in Auckland. Our depot is based in Porana Road, and primarily you will be assigned in the North Shore, providing reactive maintenance to assets in this area. Your workday will start on your first job and finish on your last job.This is an exciting role that offers lots of variety as we work across a diverse portfolio – from community centres, libraries, administration buildings, swimming pools, etc. The normal hours of work are 7.30am to 4pm, with flexibility depending on operational demands. You will mostly be working independently but from time to time may get sent to two-person jobs.ABOUT YOUYou are a qualified and registered Electrician in New Zealand and value the safety of yourself and others above all else.
