Maintenance Electrical Engineer

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Maintenance Electrical Engineer who has high safety ethics and is a solution driven maintenance professional to join our Maintenance Team. This role is based at our longstanding Kinleith Pulp & Paper Mill, located 8 km from the township of Tokoroa, in the heart of the Central North Island. This is a challenging but exciting opportunity that will see you play a key role in the team and make excellent use of your Bachelor of Engineering degree. You will be responsible for providing maintenance, operational expertise, and support. You will share technical information, create common maintenance standards, and implement improvement initiatives while maintaining a safe working environment by promoting safe work practices. Ideally you will have electrical engineering experience working in industrial or a large manufacturing operation. The successful Applicant will be able to demonstrate the following: Preferably a tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering Familiar with DCS & PLC's, high voltage systems, turbines, pumps, motors, valves, digesters, and/or heavy industrial process equipment Ability to increase reliability through improved maintenance practices Scope maintenance work for completion by contractors Effective project management & contractor management skills Strong problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Benefits: Permanent, full-time role Monday to Friday (predominately) Competitive salary package Enhanced superannuation Free Regular Care Southern Cross medical insurance Free income protection, permanent disability, and life insurance #J-18808-Ljbffr
