About the business Pauling Industries is leading the field in formulating manufacturing and packing natural and certified organic skincare products for prestigious brands both in New Zealand and overseas As the leader in our field we are constantly innovating and creating new products for customers in the local and global markets About the role If you are mechanically minded hard working and have hands on experience with Labelling and Tube sealing machines combined with a keen attitude to learn about the Engineering dynamics and Line set up systems of our company then this could be the opportunity for you Daytoday duties of your position include Providing continuous engineering support by maintaining and rectifying all equipment and process lines Setting up pneumatic fillersSetting up tube sealersSetting up box foldersOccasional weldingSetting up the labelling machinesMachining parts for tube sealersMaking sure that all of the machines and lines are running smoothly and checking they are safe to operate Providing ongoing support to the Operator and Shift Supervisor of packing lines Providing ongoing support to the Compounding staff Checking health safety aspects of the machines and other related work Setting the lines up for production and packing linesAlways be looking for improvements in all aspects of the role and be an integral part of the team that delivers results Skills and experience Labelling and Tube sealing experience Mechanically minded with a background in fixing machines trouble shooting mechanical issues assembly and disassembly At least 23 years of relevant Processing lines engineering experience An industry based maintenance background and hands on working experience Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferable A trade qualification is preferable but not essential A good team player but can also work individually Mechanical aptitude is essential Soldering skills Electrical knowledge would be favourable Setting and operating machines Physically fit and healthy Problem solving abilities Excellent organizational and time management skills Positive willing and helpful attitude High attention to detailApplicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
