Machine Operator - Invercargill

Job Description

What we’re looking for?
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Machine Operator to join our Invercargill based team.
The Role
You will be joining our busy Invercargill Minor Works Crew where your primary responsibilities will be minor works such as accessways, concrete and asphalt footpath replacements, kerb and channel replacement, rip and remakes, digouts, topsoiling, boxing, concrete placing, sump installation and/or repairs.
We’re looking for someone with:
Excavator experience is essential, especially in smaller works such as accessways or kerb and channel repairs and digout repairs.
Full class 2 license is essential
Mechanical aptitude, basic computer literacy and methodical approach to work
An ownership towards maintenance and care of machinery
Customer focus and good communication skills
