Machine Operator – Food Industry - Airport Oaks. Our client is a manufactures high quality, meat snack products for both local and export markets. We are looking for an enthusiastic person who enjoys being busy to join our Production Team as a Machine Operator in the packing and filling area. It's an exciting time to join our team as we continue to grow from strength to strength. Shift is permanent AFTERNOON shift position working Monday - Friday 3 - 11:30pm. What’s in it for you: · Stable and secure employment· Opportunity to obtain a NCEA level 2 certificate in Food and Related Products Processing· Good rates apply· Weekend overtime available Duties include:· Operating various manual and automated equipment· Form and fill, labelling and packaging machines· Setting up, operating and cleaning of machines· inspecting production run and document results· Determining and reporting malfunctions To be considered for this role you will need:· FMCG manufacturing experience and knowledge· Commitment to high standards of safety, quality, food safety and production· Have a drive to achieve set production targets· Have excellent attention to detail· Demonstrate numeracy and literacy skills· Have the ability to think on your feet and multitask· Current FULL drivers license and own transport· Be physically fit (manual handling involved) Experience Machine Operating within food manufacturing is essential.
