Our client is a Hawke's Bay food processing company that is looking for a Machine Operator with a valid Forklift licence to join their team based in Hastings. Must be able to start IMMEDIATELY.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring the smooth running of the machine
Quality control checking the finished product in accordance with spec sheets
Able to take instructions/read a recipe
Operating a forklift
Follow Health and Safety procedures
To be successful, you MUST have the following:
Previous experience in the Food Manufacturing industry
Experience in operating a range of machinery in a manufacturing environment
Strong experience of Health and Safety requirements
Be hardworking, reliable and physically fit
Quick learner
Mechanical aptitude
Must have good attention to detail
Own reliable transport to get to and from work
Able to pass pre-employment drug check
Must be able to supply 2 references relevant to employment history
