Logistics Supervisor Anz

A global leader with a strong portfolio of iconic brand names has an excellent opportunity to join the business in this integral role as a Logistics Supervisor leading a team. Based in the south of Sydney you will be responsible for Australia and NZ.

The Role
Reporting to the General Manager of Australia and NZ, you will be process and data driven, responsible for the following:
Working with internal and external stakeholders
Maintaining optimal production efficiency
Manage and lead a team within the logistics
Manage relationships with all freight providers and ensure new carriers are suggested based on continuous push to improve
Negotiate and support logistics costs from providers and assist with yearly budgets
Reduce shipping costs
Keep up to date with new trends and innovations
Maintain KPIs for turnaround time and fulfilment rates on an ongoing process
Keep in line with company policies and overall objective
Take ownership of the ANZ region and travel interstate where required

Required Skills and Attributes
We are seeking someone who is able to develop strategies, process improvement and lead a team of 4. Travel is required from time to time including overseas travel.
The successful applicant will possess the following skills and attributes:
A minimum of 5 years proven experience working in a similar role
Management experience leading and developing a team
Data and process driven
E-Commerce experience is desirable
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Previous ANZ management exposure
