Auckland City, AucklandFull-time, PermanentCompany BackgroundThe company prides itself on producing and supplying high quality, elite sporting products and is now seeking an experienced logistics manager to assist within various areas in the business.The role will be responsible for undertaking all manners of warehousing, freight management. bat maintenance & customer service including, but not limited to: Freight management from factory to warehouseAssessing bat returns, general maintenance and repairsInternational order placementMaintaining spreadsheets regarding costings and product orderingKey account purchasing and maintaining relationships – major bankMaintaining relationships with customer, point of contact.Processing orders to be ready for dispatchAssessing bat returns, general maintenance and repairsOrder entry through phone orders EDIEnsuring performance is done in a safe manner at all timesEnsure all stock arrives in time and cost effective manner.Essential Experience: Experience in a fast moving, rapid turnover office environment.Experience in Logistics and understanding of freightUnderstanding workings of wholesale business model.Experience in selling and customer serviceExperience in bat repairs (2+ years)Must have knowledge of the sporting goods industrySkills: Excellent time management skills.Exhibit excellent communicationCan work under pressure.Can keep up in a fast paced environmentProven excellent customer serviceCan work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.Computer literate and ability to use MS officeAbility to handle and repair damaged bats***Sage System highly regarded***Candidates for this role must possess the following characteristics: Be a team player and able to work autonomously.Versatile and able to demonstrate a high level of flexibility within the role.Posses good communication skills.Be ready and willing to help out when needed.Can follow instruction.Applicants for this role must possess a current forklift license and full drivers licence with a clean driving record.Any candidate who fits this criteria and wants to be part of a supportive team are encouraged to apply!Job Types: Full-time, PermanentExperience:Bat Making: 2 years (Preferred)Work Eligibility:The candidate can work permanently with no restriction on hours (Preferred)
