Operating in a unique sector of the health care environment, the New Zealand Blood Service is responsible for the collection, management and safety of New Zealand's blood supply.
The primary duties of this role include: dispatching and receiving of blood products and components, stock monitoring and working in conjunction with laboratory processing staff.
The position will suit a person who has an eye for detail, who can work under pressure as this can be a busy environment with moderate lifting required. Good computer skills are essential and experience with computerised stock control is preferred, although training will be provided.
This is a full time position, working daytime hours, Monday to Friday. The successful applicant will report to the Team Leader Logistics at our Hamilton site.
