We are looking for a Logistics Assistant to work in our operations team, the role is based in Fitzroy in our Head Office. The role assists the operations team in a fast paced environment requiring exceptional attention to detail.
The role will be across and assist with all aspects of the department, with the primary focus of this position being to monitor and co-ordinate shipments and deliveries with internal and external customers and to process shipping documentation.
The successful candidate will have some relevant knowledge and experience in this area, dealing with international suppliers, freight companies and customs.
This role requires a self managed and dependable individual with strong admin skills and excellent attention to detail and will suit someone wanting to build an admin career in the Operations/Production/shipping area.

Operations team responsibilities:
Bulk production - Planning, Placement & Tracking, Import/Export.
On time and cost effective production & delivery of bulk goods from supplier to Melb warehouse.
On time production & handover of bulk goods from supplier to International customers freight partners.
Manage handover of goods from suppliers to Hong Kong warehouse for consolidation, inform regions of freight available for pick up.
Process and file all documentation.

Suppliers based in HKG, China, India - delivery of goods to Melb, NZ, Canada, HKG, Japan, Sweden, UK, USA.
