Logging Operations Supervisor

We are currently recruiting for a Logging Operations Supervisor to support the Logging Manager in all areas of day to day Logging Operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous industry experience looking to step into a supervisory role.

Duties would include:
• Fleet management
• Driver liaison
• Office administration
• Capacity planning
• Skid site visits
• Safety investigations
• Dispatch oversight
• Relief driving as required
• Compliance with Health & Safety systems and practices

The successful candidate would also have:
- Previous experience as a logging or bulk cartage driver
- Experience in vehicle service and maintenance planning
- Be computer literate with basic Excel and Word
- Ideas for continuous improvement of business operations and also be open to new ideas
- Have good problem solving skills
- Be confident, organised and able to interact with a wide range of people
- Previous experience in supervisory or managing staff/drivers would be an advantage
