Position PurposeWork as a leader in the Eleven hospitality team to execute once in a lifetime experiences for guests by anticipating guest needs, tailoring service to guest preferences, and exceeding expectations

Hire, train, and supervise in partnership with Eleven management, the hospitality, guide, maintenance, housekeeping, and culinary staff

Manage the Cedar Lodge property to the highest operational standards

Develop and establish Eleven standard operating procedures (SOPs) for Cedar Lodge

Support Eleven global operations by training visiting staff from other locations

Work to further the Cedar Lodge product by working with Eleven Experience and Grassy Creek teams on program design and execution

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/TasksLead the Cedar Lodge staff by example and support them whenever necessary, even if this means stepping in to complete their job or performing work outside your job description

Hire and schedule all staff, perform staff reviews, and manage staff payroll

Lead the daily guest agenda in partnership with the lead guide and pilot for each day to ensure the guides, guests, fishing beats and weather are all optimized for the highest quality guest experience.

Manage the Health and Safety program for the lodge and guiding operations including the creation and execution of operating plans covering daily SOPs, emergency planning and risk management

Organize and implement lodge operations prior to the start of each season; on a monthly, weekly and daily basis; as well as wrapping up operations after the season concludes

Create, implement and update training manuals and checklists for SOPs, general maintenance schedules, sub-contractor contact lists, etc.

Manage the culinary staff in menu planning, budgeting, procurement, meal timing and presentation

Lead trainings in Eleven guest service procedures to all staff. Emphasize accountability and high ethical standards

Embrace and implement new technologies to streamline operations. This includes working in the proprietary software system called Personal Life Manager (PLM), Opera or other future systems

Manage owner preferences and equipment

Schedule all necessary property maintenance to keep Cedar Lodge guest ready

Work with the Grassy Creek properties team to manage building upkeep, landscaping, and sub-contractors and train staff to problem solve quickly to best care for the company assets

Participate in the creation of operational budgets for Cedar Lodge

Manage guest stays by executing daily itineraries and handling staffing, reservations, activity logistics, transportation schedules, non-angling activities, and special requests
Track and order all guest special request liquor, amenities, food, etc.
Create amend, enforce, and manage back-of-house inventory control for Cedar Lodge including but not limited to toiletries, alcohol, food, sheets, towels, pillows, etc.
Operate all licenses and permits issued to Cedar Lodge to the letter of the law
Control, monitor, and report credit card and cash expenses that support assets and operations
Approve all property specific vendor invoices and submit to accounting in a timely manner
Any other duties that may be assigned

Qualifications
Experience effectively managing a dynamic team

Knowledge of all operations relating to a remote, fly-out fishing lodge

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of software

Efficient and effective time management skills

Effective communicator in verbal and written forms including phone, email and in person.
