Lodge Assistants - Single/Couple

Position: Lodge Assistants - Single Or Couple
Location: Manawatu-Wanganui

This is a live in job for a single or couple. You must hold a valid Working Holiday Visa and have an IRD number. Accommodation will be in a private cabin with parking, wifi, laundry and electricity use provided to you at the discounted rate of $175. You will RECEIVE A TAX DEDUCTIBLE WAGE of $350 per week of which accommodation is deducted from. You will be required to sign an employment agreement when you start.

We are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated and friendly helper/s at our family owned Lodge near Mt Ruapehu's ski fields, The Tongariro Alpine Crossing & Northern Circuit and many mountain bike trails.

Your role will include bed making, general housekeeping and cleaning, gardening/painting and reception duties. This vacancy would suit someone who has their own transport so that you can make the most of exploring the nearby national parks and the local area, although this is not essential.

Our setting is private and peaceful with amazing views of the mountains, we have an outdoor heated spa pool, and we're within walking distance to shops and cafes. You must be available to work between 8.00am and 10.00pm on rostered shifts (approximately 18 hours per week).

We looking for someone to start around September 30th and due to the time it takes to train we prefer a longer term committment of 2 months or more, ideally 3 months taking us to Christmas.
