Loan Set Coordinator (Auckland, Nz)

Summary The Loan Set Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the effective coordination, control and monitoring of all NZ loan kit room functions for the timely dispatch, and returns of instruments and implants to Smith & Nephew customers.
This role will report to the Operations Lead, New Zealand.
Essential Job Functions
Ensure all surgery cases / bookings are completed in a timely manner and equipment requirements are effectively communicated with customers and sales reps
Maintain inventory control to ensure availability of implants / instruments for case coverage
Ensure stock rotation of inventory and removal of expired items within NZ Loan warehouse
Monitor the quality inspection of returned material/ equipment
Identify and confirm status of returned material/ equipment in SAP
Coordinate the decontamination process of returned equipment
Ensure all loan implants be individually tagged and transacted out and in via the Smith & nephew RFID Tunnel System
Perform domestic shipping duties and ensure effective communication of delivery information to relevant departments
Perform general warehouse and other related duties as required by management including on call duties
Education
Tertiary qualifications in a Science and/or Business disciplines
Experience
Experience within a customer service/ supply chain/ warehouse environment
Exposure to medical industry and devices
Experience in loan set operations, desirable
Experience working with contaminated materials
Inventory management experience
Technical Knowledge & Competencies
Experience using SAP ERP system; Microsoft Office; loan set Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) systems
Superior organisational and coordination skills
Customer focused with ability to adapt and respond to customer needs
High attention to detail and accurate with numbers
Can take initiatives and follow instructions accurately
Able to work without direct supervision
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines often with conflicting priorities
