Your leadership is crucial for delivering high-quality snacks to our customers.What you will bringA desire to advance your career with experience and knowledge in:Autonomous maintenance (AM) Step 4 and progressive maintenance (PM) Step 3 systemsMaintaining equipment independently, executing AM & PM standardsTotal productive maintenance and Six Sigma, including qualification in AM steps 5-6 and PM step 3Leading line teamsHandling interpersonal situations tactfullyInfluencing in union environmentsEffective verbal and written communication with attention to detailMore about this roleEducation: Vocational Technical Degree or Bachelor's DegreeRequirements3 to 5 years of operational experience3 to 5 years of leadership experience3 to 5 years of continuous improvement experienceThe Line Manager is responsible for overall line performance 24/7, ensuring high-quality, on-time production at the required cost, managing labor efficiencies, product trials, schedule changes, and employee compliance with GMPs and safety regulations.Primary ResponsibilitiesEnsure safety, quality, cost, delivery, and morale targets are metManage staffing, training, and employee cycle eventsLead safety initiatives and conduct safety walks and incident reportsReview and address root causes of issues, ensuring corrective actionsDeliver improvement projects and ensure proper employee trainingMaintain good employee relations and coach team membersEnsure equipment and processes follow standards and support AM activitiesParticipate in IL6S work processes and AM pillar activitiesManage maintenance planning, changeovers, and trialsInvestigate problems, implement corrective actions, and monitor performanceManage labor costs and labor standardsPrepare and communicate KPIs and reportsNo relocation support is available.Business Unit SummaryWe are one of Canada's largest snack companies, with iconic brands like Cadbury, OREO, Christie, and Maynards.
