Plan and manage the day to day operational aspects of the business as per store standards
Manage all established policies and procedures for the accounting and handling of cash including Cash Sales, Banking, and Shop Expenses.
Maintain sales and expenditures against the current budget, perform sales and
Expenditures analysis, and take corrective action when necessary.
Responsible for establishing and maintaining appropriate inventory levels for the liquor store operations and administering the inventory process. Select the product mix and place orders with vendors and suppliers while dealing with reps to extract the best deals and trade terms for the business.
Should be able to maintain invoices, adjustments and other transactions into P.O.S. system.
Determine products and brands to be carried by the liquor operation by studying product trends, sales trends and customer preferences.
Set prices for all products with a view to maximize sales and profitability.
Take marketing and promotional initiatives, deliver innovative merchandise display and store presentation.
Manage staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
Review, evaluate and recommend appropriate training programs to keep the staff informed and knowledgeable of store products, and all applicable laws and regulations
Ensure customers have a great customer experience by appropriately training the staff. Ensure all customer complaints and queries are dealt with in a timely and appropriate manner.
Ensure compliance of all store operations to all applicable laws and regulations, including Liquor Laws, and Occupational Health and Safety Regulations.
We are looking for the following skills and competence.
Candidate must have a current and valid License Controller Qualification and a Current Managers Certificate
Minimum 2 years experience or relevant Qualification of Business Management.
Someone having Marketing knowledge to look after our Online Marketing business
