A Lexcel accredited firm in the Canterbury area are seeking a Legal Cashier to join their accounts team in their Head Office, looking for somebody to start ASAP. This role will include proactively supporting the team, maintaining client and office ledgers. You will be responsible for providing a professional accounting service within the department, providing high quality work in a timely manner.

You must be familiar with Solicitors Accounts Rules and Conveyancing Process. The position will include dealing with daily reconciliations, maintaining bankline CHAPS/Faster Payment Templates, closure forms, preparing and delivering banking, disbursements, transferring costs, dealing with invoices and complying with the Solicitor's accounts rules.

To be considered for this position, you do not need to be qualified. However, working towards the institute of legal finance and management diploma would be advantageous. Additionally, having around 2 years of experience working as an accounts assistant or legal cashier. Experience of working in an accounting role within a law firm is preferred.
