Our client has engaged Amicus Legal Recruitment to assist in the search for an experienced Legal Assistant to join their dynamic Workplace Relations and Employment Law team. Working for a fantastic and well respected Partner and Senior Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring that all facets of the Partner's days are made easier by way of providing broad administrative assistance as well as assisting with the organisation of the practices business development initiatives. You can expect your day to day responsibilities to include the following:
Transcribing advice, correspondence and Court documents;
Preparing and collating Briefs for Counsel;
Extensive diary management;
Liaising with clients and third party stakeholders;
File administration;
Complex end of month billing; and
General administrative duties.

The focus of the Partner's practice encompasses unfair dismissal and general protections claims, employment contracts, assistance with due diligence matters, industrial action defence and strategy, equal opportunity law and occupational health and safety.

As the ideal person for this role, you will be a highly experienced Legal Secretary with at least 3 years experience in a similar capacity. Given that your role will include extensive liaison with clients and due to the level of seniority of this position, it is imperative that you are professionally presented and have an articulated telephone manner and A1 technical skills using electronic billing and document management systems as well as Microsoft Word and an outstanding typing ability.
