We welcome applications from Maori and Pasifika scholars with research interests in any area of sociology and/or gender studies, in particular Indigenous or intersectional approaches.
Your skills and experience
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong disciplinary grounding in sociology and/or gender studies and also have:
• A PhD in sociology and/or gender studies.
• Demonstrated teaching experience at tertiary level.
• Relevant research experience and corresponding publication record.
• A commitment to developing collaborative working relationships with colleagues and to supporting the University’s Maori, Pacific, and Sustainability strategic frameworks.
