We offer a comprehensive undergraduate programme leading to the Bachelor of Surveying, BSc in Surveying Measurement, Land Planning and Development, and Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and we mentor students who conduct excellent Honours, MSc, and PhD research.

As well as contributing to these disciplines, the advertised positions present an exciting opportunity to teach from a te ao Maori and kaupapa Maori perspective.The Position / Te MahiWe seek one new full time, permanent academic colleague with expertise in at least two topic areas out of these four: a) Geodesy, b) Surveying Mathematics, c) Surveying Measurement (Applied Geodesy) or d) other Surveying subtopics (including Engineering, Cadastral or Reality Capture).
The appointment will be made at Lecturer or Senior Lecturer level dependent on academic achievement, skills and experience.Key responsibilities include:Teaching: Teaching responsibilities will include core papers drawn from those listed above, along with allied areas, in which the appointees have expertise and interest, as well as field camps.
