This full-time position is based in the heart of Auckland CBD, providing you with the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality vocational training to aspiring primary school teachers.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and deliver engaging content, industry-relevant lectures online and face to face delivery (via Canvas LMS and MS Teams)Assess student work and provide constructive feedback to support their academic and professional developmentContribute to the continuous improvement of primary teaching curriculum and course materials – aligned to NZQA standardsEngage in Research and scholarly eventsMentor and guide students, fostering their growth and preparing them for successful careers in primary educationIncorporate te reo me nga tikanga Maori, Pasifika values, and principles of Mana Orite into your teachingKo koe tenei | About youTertiary qualified in Education (ideally Masters) including an active current Teacher RegistrationSubstantial experience as a New Zealand primary school teacher/ Tertiary Lecturer in EducationStrong understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and ability to embed its principles in your teachingExperience with NZQA programme design, assessment, and moderationStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedbackA passion for educating and mentoring the next generation of primary school teachersKnowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and ability to embed its principles in your teachingNga painga | What we offerEducationAt the NZSE, we are committed to providing our employees with a rewarding and fulfilling work environment.
