Permanent, full-time (1.0 FTE) appointmentAn opportunity for an experienced lecturer in paramedicine.Here is your opportunity to work with an innovative and progressive team in a unique environment, based in Christchurch.Successful applicants will actively engage in facilitating delivery of the education in the undergraduate Paramedicine programmes.
There is an expectation that the appointee will also contribute to the research culture within the Faculty of Health and Environmental Sciences at AUT University.Applicants should ideally hold a minimum of a BHSc in Paramedicine qualification (or similar) and preferably have current clinical experience and be working towards a postgraduate health qualification.
The successful applicant will preferably have a relevant teaching history and qualification or be committed to completing a postgraduate education programme and must be able to fulfil the New Zealand Defence Force contractor security requirements.They will embrace the vision and values of the School and commit to ongoing professional development supported by the AUT staff development programme.The successful applicant will:inspire and support students' achievement.demonstrate writing skills that show linguistic sophistication.have competent organisational and IT skills.demonstrate experience in large class teaching and curriculum design with evidence of a scholarly approach to learning and teaching.AUT is a fantastic place to work and has excellent staff benefits including free study, a personal fund for your continued professional development, free membership to AUT gyms and generous leave allowances.Salary Range: $92,000 - $110,000 (appointment level and salary commensurate with skills and experience)Job Reference: 91303This role is considered a children's worker role and will be subject to safety checking as part of the Children's Act 2014.At AUT we strive to be a place where people love to work and learn.
