You will have the privilege of instilling a passion for lifelong learning in your students, as the field of technology is constantly evolving. Building Critical Thinking Skills: Teaching IT involves more than just technical knowledge; it also cultivates critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity. The role: Facilitate learning by presenting lectures, tutorials, seminars, workshops and courses and online learning resources Develop assessment material related to courses taught Provide assessment and feedback to students on their progress towards learning outcomes Foster the development of individual student talent Provide pastoral care support to the students You will need to: understand the need for increased diversity in tech have a personal commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi have experience teaching or learning in a blended environment (online/offline) and have or are working towards a Masters degree in Technology or a related field Key technical skills: Lead the teaching of our IT programs in Taranaki!
