Overall you will have responsibility for the coordination of our various employment initiative programmes at Downer. You would be responsible for coordinating programmes, facilitating workshops, managing key relationships, alumni communications and newsletters, and managing funding steams for Te Ara Whanake, Te Whanake ki te Ora, and our Downer Basics programmes.About the roleAs our Programme Manager, you will be cultivating strong, collaborative relationships with trainers, facilitators, speakers, and our external agencies like MSD. In addition, you will be involved with the:Creation and distribution of internal marketing resources and communicationsParticipant communications including newsletters and feedbackContinuous improvement of programme contentEnsuring the requirements of the funding organisation are met including regular reporting, management of expenses, record keeping, provision of pastoral care, identification & management of training requirements, management of the mentoring programme, and support of the Advisory Board.Providing programme management support to all leadership development programmes as required.About youYou’ll need to be a go-getter and an absolutely fabulous communicator adaptable to all levels. You’ll bring with you a strong level of experience in organising development programmes, supporting facilitators and participants. You’ll also have:Strong relationship management skillsRespect for M?ori tikangaAn eye for outcomes and for detailThe ability to work to tight deadlines, ambiguity, and last minute changes and challengesExcellent reporting and expense management that ensures funding criteria are met.Our Team is based all over NZ, as our programmes are available nationally you will need to be able to travel, and to stay for the duration of some of the programmes.
