About The Role:
This role is a unique entry role into crew leadership, which will see the successful applicant lead a small crew on a variety of maintenance works across Traffic Assets, which includes the installation and maintenance of road signs, barriers, and other forms of non-pavement related works. Reporting into the foreman and part of a well established crew, this role offers lots of variety and a chance to join a reputable company in a long term position. This is a Night Shift postion, requiring the successful applicant to work Sunday - Thursday, between the hours of 6pm - 6am.
Duties:
Small crew leadership of 3-6 general workers
Hands on maintenance and repairs (e.g traffic/road signs, guard rails)
Comply with H&S procedures and policies
Facilitate pre-start & toolbox meetings
Make sure works are carried out to specification
Make sure plant & equipment is maintained and used safely
To Be Successful:
Proven experience relating to non-pavement related traffic assets
Reliable transport with a full class 1, class 2 desireable
Demonstrated leadership ability and great people skills
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
Honesty, reliability and hardworking!
