This role encompasses oversight of the patching solutions, leading day-to-day operations, and managing a team of Level 1 and Level 2 engineers to ensure systems are updated, secure, and compliant with organizational policies and industry standards.
The role serves as the primary point of contact for all patching-related initiatives and escalations, ensuring a proactive, streamlined, and efficient patch management process.Lead and manage the L1 and L2 engineers responsible for patching across AIX, Windows, and Linux systems.Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and upskilling opportunities to the team.Act as the escalation point for patching-related issues and challenges.Develop, implement, and maintain patching strategies, schedules, and processes for all supported systems.Own and manage patching tools and solutions, including their configuration, optimization, and lifecycle management.Ensure timely deployment of patches while minimizing system downtime and disruption to business operations.Maintain accurate patching documentation, including policies, processes, and reports.
