Who are we Based in Auckland Banner Express is a dynamic company which focus on delivering top quality print products at exceptional price to our customers Supporting New Zealand businesses is an important part of what we do and we build our reputation on uncompromised customer service fast turnaround and quality products Who are we looking for We are looking for a Large Format Print Operator Finisher to join the growing family of Banner Express As the Production Operator Finisher you are the key person who sets the pace for our large format operation You are responsible for the production of large format products signs banners posters etc from printing finishing to packaging You will also be working in our sheet fed digital press operation as and when required You MUST have an eye for detail making sure that our customers only receive top quality products We do not deliver substandard product under any circumstances as customer satisfaction is paramount Banner Express has a strict product turnaround policy and you MUST be prepared to work longer hours if required to meet the product turnaround target What are the prerequisites Technical Skills Ideally you should have prior working experience with large format printer with knowledge of the relevant finishing processes We are happy to provide full training if you are the right person with the cando and positive attitude Computer Skills You must be familiar with Windows operating system and Microsoft Excel Candidate with working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop Illustrator and colour management workflow is highly preferable Communication Skills You should be a people person who is capable of working with a tightknit team Ability to Multitask You will be working on multiple print projects at the same time each with a different deadline so nothing else other than excellent time management skill will help you to excel in this position Willingness to Work Hard Production floor is the place only for those who is willing to work hard Some level of heavy lifting will be required when loading unloading print materials and organising stock prints so you must be physically capable of performing the material handling tasks How Do You Apply Please submit your cover letter and CV via SEEK Candidate applying for this job must have the existing right to work in New Zealand
