Labourer / Gardener

Our gardening and landscaping company has 2 vacancy to be filled ASAP as gardener and laborer. Previous experiences in and/or gardening, landscaping, building construction, farming are required. The successful candidate must have a CAN-DO attitude being punctual and trustworthy.

You will complete a team of 3 workers and the manager. Your tasks will be as followed (and doesn't exclude any other duties that can be asked in order to complete the work).
Helping the team to load and unload the utes. Gardening Tasks Pulling Weed ?? Trimming Trees Removing Green Waste Scraping off dirt or removing soil Weed spraying Moving material: bark, shingles Digging and planting Mowing the lawn Landscaping Lifting reasonable weights: i.e pavers, cement sacks, timber, green waste bag ... Digging and levelling ground Moving Soil (include shovelling, carrying wheelbarrow) More about the work:
- Meeting Point in Newtown (address to be provided if the application is successful)
- Transport from the garage to site included.
- Weekdays work
- 7am-5pm (till the end of the month).
- 30 minutes lunch break (not included)
- 2x15minutes break
- $20.20 hourly rate + 8% holiday pay on top.
You will start on casual contract basis, but if you have the right attitude, can show initiative and the company's ethic we might consider a full-time position as the company is always evolving.
