Laboratory Sampler - 2 Month Project

On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking two Laboratory Sample Testers for a two-month project commencing 29th October 2019.

You must be suitably skilled and be able to prepare and pack sample set test kits and to assist with sampling.

Your role will consist of the collection of samples from sites around Taranaki, bringing them back to the laboratory and assisting in preparing the samples, you will be involved with the various steps of the testing process. Once completed you will need to ensure they are registered in the laboratory system.

Depending on your skill level and knowledge, there will be some additional training including measuring, weighing and potentially some work with agar plates.

Ideally, you will have experience in a laboratory setting or have a strong science background.

As these roles require you to collect samples from sites around Taranaki, you must have your own transport and current driver's license.

Full-time hours available, working between the hours of 8 am - 5 pm with sampling taking place on a 5-day cycle, working across any 7 days a week, so you will be required to work some weekends.
