Kitchen Manager - Auckland

We are super busy and getting busier - it is an exciting time here at Eat My Lunch! Eat My Lunch Auckland has been operating for 4 years and we are looking for a special person to take over the helm and continue the fantastic work that our current Chef has achieved.
Hours are approximately 5am – 2pm Monday to Friday however as Captain you must be prepared to go above and beyond.
Driver’s license is preferred

This is a multifaceted role where no two days are the same.
We are offering the right person who has experience in a commercial kitchen an opportunity to join us to work alongside our current manager and get to know the team and the role thoroughly.
An experienced Chef with management experience who leads by example.
Responsibilities:
Our lunches are made fresh everyday so attention to quality, consistency and time are critical to the role.
To manage and coordinate the functions necessary to ensure Eat My Lunch's lunches are manufactured and packed to the highest quality and in accordance with the company Food Safety Plan and product specifications.
In addition to the day to day operations, to assist to develop and implement strategic solutions as new products
from concept to commercialisation.
Skills:
Team Leadership/Management
Commercial cooking in line with FCP Guidelines
Ability to delegate all kitchen related activities to staff who are trained to do so.
Build and develop existing staff talent through ongoing training.
