Randstad Community Services are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Manager to join a well established aged care facility in Wellington.
The purpose of this job is to implement all menu programmes and other catering needs for the Bupa Home to ensure that the individual food and nutritional needs of consumers/kiritaki are met.
Ideal Qualifications and Experience:
2 years’ experience as a chef.
Diploma in Food Preparation and Cooking (Culinary Arts).
Work experience of 1-3 years at least, (preferably in aged care) is desirable
Key tasks and responsibilities:
Menu Planning and Implementation
Hygiene and Food Safety
Special Event Catering
Ordering and Use of Supplies
Supervision and Teamwork
Health & Safety
Quality Assurance
