We are a catering and events company committed to delivering unique food & event experiences to Sydney. We host fabulous Outdoor Pop Up Events and Indoor Private Events and corporate deliverables. In this exciting yet challenging role you will operate the overall management of all catering and event orders for distribution
We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager with proven managerial background within a fast paced repetitive kitchen and highly logistical operational environment.

Your key responsibilities in this role will include but not limited to
Execute the day to day operations of all catering and event orders being dispatched by bringing logistics together from multiple kitchen production points into one central dispatch centre.
Pick packing all catering and event orders and managing the workflow of drivers to meet standards
Accountable for the distribution of finished goods in an accurate and timely manner by working with multiple departments (operations / kitchen) to bring together the daily requirements
Maintaining a clean and efficient distribution work space
Update and upload orders for moving meals brand into existing website on weekly basis
Creation of order sheets through our software (Foodstorm) for kitchen production and distribution.
Managing productivity to daily work schedules and handling production and dispatch issues as they arise
Build effective relationships with each kitchen production sector as well as drivers, to maintain consistent distribution to our clients
Review, develop and implement best working practises to advance the logistic and dispatch department

Skills and Attributes Required
Excellent communication, time management and organisational skills
Min 2 years demonstrated experience distribution environment
Ability to stay calm under pressure and display resilient natured behaviour
Previous experience in a fast paced catering distribution environment
Proficient in Microsoft and Logistics
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Punctuality and reliability are essential for this role as it is a deadline driven environment
The ability to multitask and handle competing priorities
