Kitchen Designer Taupo

Kitchens R Us is based in Mt Maunganui, servicing Waikato and Bay of Plenty areas with Kitchen sales and manufacturing.
We have 3 showrooms in Hamilton, Taupo and Mt Maunganui.
We are a close-knit bunch and we are now on the hunt for a bubbly energetic person to join our fun-loving, hard-working team based at Taupo showroom.
Description of the role:
• Liaise with Clients and suppliers alike.
• Draw plans as per specs requested in an efficient and timely manner.
• Price up jobs you have drawn.
• Meet clients onsite, measure spaces, take photos and notes for drawing information.
• Use software; Cabinet vision, Microsoft Office & Excel.
• Ensuring that any contact with our customers is a well informed and enjoyable experience.
• Take responsibility for becoming a Kitchen design expert through our in-house training and commit to self-led continuous learning courses online and travel to complete modules when required.
Skills required for the role:
• Must have some CAD experience preferably cabinet vision
• Must be good at math’s & excel
• Be very computer literate MS word and email
• Be very methodical and well organized
• Come from a design background i.e. experienced Kitchen, bathroom or interior designer
• Or a cabinet maker wanting to get into a sales & design role
• Customer service skills
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to get along with people
• Work well in a team environment but also self-manage and prioritize
• Able to read and follow architectural plans
• Professional dress and demeanor
• Full clean license
• Your own car
• NZ residency
• English is your first language
