Amiga Montessori provides education and long day care for children aged two to six in purpose designed premises. Under the guidance of a qualified teacher, children in a Montessori classroom learn by making discoveries with the materials, hereby promoting concentration, motivation, self-discipline, independence and a love of learning!

We are looking for a Permanent Full Time Kindergarten Teach to join our family in Term 1 of 2019!

Must Haves:

Qualifications:A Degree in Early Childhood or equivalent.
A current Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration.
A current Working with Children Check.
A current First Aid Certification.
A current Anaphylaxis Certification.

Desired Skills & Knowledge:
Sound knowledge of the The Early Years Learning Frameworks and understanding of National Quality Standards
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to adapt communication style and vocabulary depending on the audience.
Able to define and breakdown problems/situations, defuses, assesses and comes up with solutions.
Able to follow direction in a positive and supportive manner.
The ability to work in an Innovative and collaborative way.

Your Duties include but are not limited to;
Establishing and supporting the development of appropriate programs for both individual and groups of children.
Room Management and Supervision.
Administration.
