The ability to use your passion to educate primary school aged children in a fun and activity- based way. Graduated or studying towards a tertiary qualification. Must be available to work during afterschool hours 3pm-5:30pm You must be available for at least one afternoon per week (Monday to Friday), but the more the better!
If you have the ability to tutor chess too, that would be great but this is not essential. Applicants for the position should be able to demonstrate the following key attributes: Ability to plan and manage time effectively to meet goals and objectives Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability and willingness to work co-operatively as a team member in a range of contexts Previous experience in working with children would be beneficial Self-motivated and an entrepreneurial spirit Location and transport: This position will be based in primary schools around Manukau and Ormiston. You must have your own transport. Availability and timing: ASAP starts available for the right candidates Ideally you will be available on an ongoing basis
