The Head Teacher and governing body of a reputable primary school situated just outside of Nelson town are on the look out to source a dedicated KS1 teaching assistant to support small groups of pupils during lessons, to deliver interventions and general classroom support to the Class Teacher. The working hours for this role are 9:00-13:00 equating to 20 working hours per week paid on a weekly basis directly by Teaching Personnel.The Head Teacher has expressed that the ideal candidate will have experience supporting children across EYFS and KS1, more specifically working alongside children with SEMH and varying needs. The school are looking for a teaching assistant with a positive attitude, a good sense of humour and who can adapt quickly to suit the needs of each child - the Head Teacher has emphasised that no two days at the school are these same; therefore this is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking for a new and exciting opportunity and to gain further experience in Key Stage 1.This is a reputable primary school serving a pleasant catchment area with idyllic surroundings.
