Our Key Account Managers are entrepreneurial, leading the development, implementation and tracking of Red Bull’s sales strategy. You will be delivering sales, volume and profitability targets across the Oils & Organissed Convenience channel nationally. You must be a ‘hands-on’ team player who is able to deliver to clear expectations and objectives and someone who sets themselves aggressive goals and delivers on key initiatives. You are able to devise a medium-term vision, based on thorough understanding of customers, trends and opportunities with attention to detail. You thrive on taking calculated risks, identifying and exploiting opportunities and to achieve business advantages. You share best practices with colleagues and customers to enable Red Bull to gain competitor advantage. You are creative, analytical and can challenge. You are able to build strong strategic customer relationships and collaborate cross-functionally with other internal departments.
Managing customer P&L
Build an annual business plan for your accounts to deliver profitable growth via effective and optimal use of available investments.Deliver the monthly business plan financial sales volume in serving units across all key accounts.
Effective customer engagement
Manage the customers that this role is directly responsible for.Develop and execute National Account Plans on availability, visibility and communication.
Effective in-store activation
Manage the execution in store via the execution team (direct or third party).Regular value added engagement with the customer.
Ensure robust trade spend management and forecast processes
Ensure compliance to the trade spend management process.Use strong planning skills to deliver a robust rolling forecast.Communicate with key stakeholders regarding any change in plans.
EXPERIENCE
Your areas of knowledge and expertise
that matter most for this role:
A proven track record of 3-5 years professional experience in Key Account Management and/or Field.
Ideally with FMCG/beverage background.
Excellent network of existing contacts and trade relationships.
Strategic ability - develop specific, valuable, innovative and commercially focused strategies but also grasp the ‘bigger picture’.
Commercial acumen - strong understanding of sales processes and financial systems. Strategic and innovative commercial awareness. Ideally can work with SAP/BI to plan and track sales results.
Analytical skills - strong planning and negotiation skills with a sound understanding of financial bottom line implications of sales and marketing decisions. Able to analyse sales and customer data, take the best conclusion, develop initiatives with the highest value for the shopper, customer and Red Bull.
Negotiation experience - successful front line retail negotiation experience and problem-solving skills.
Presentation skills - demonstrate great presentation skills that provide highly relevant and commercially viable strategies/processes in a clear, concise and empowering way.
Tertiary qualification in a relevant field
Travel up to: 10%
