THE ROLE
The newly created role of Key Account Manager will nurture business relationships to drive sales initiatives within the Veterinary and Pharmaceutical channels. This role provides the opportunity to make a real difference, by developing key customer business plans and targeting growth opportunities.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, growing sales value to meet profit objectives in Regional Key Customers, to establish and develop relationships with, and manage the business of Regional Key Account Customers, implementing a centralised approach for each group and to negotiate win-win contracts with Regional Key Account Customers.
THE PERSON
To be successful, you will have:
Experience within the Vet industry.
A minimum of 3 ? 5 years in a Relationship Sales role.
Proven experience working with Key Accounts.
Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customers? needs.
Proven ability to achieve budgeted targets.
In addition, you will need to:
Have strong business acumen.
Have robust negotiation and communication skills.
Have flexibility to travel throughout New Zealand.
