Job description:Kaihautu Matauranga | Education Leader (EarlyLearning, Schools and Secondary)Position Purpose The Kaihautu Matauranga will lead developments in professional learningand development services in collaboration with academic andprofessional education leaders, with a particular focus on early learning,primary and secondary sector education needs and related Ministry ofEducation priorities which currently include; cultural capability, localcurriculum design; and assessment for learning.The key purpose of this will role will be to take strategic oversight ofcurrent sector needs, including short, medium and long term initiativesand objectives, development of robust plans to ensure full achievement ofdeliverables for existing contracts, to identify, pursue and secure newopportunities and maintain and develop reciprocal relationships acrossthe education environment both domestically and internationally.The Kaihautu Matauranga will be actively engaged across the design anddelivery of customised short courses and in-service professionaldevelopment, bringing innovative approaches to proposal writing,reporting and business development.
